Dawneesh Shaktivats is a founding partner of Mishpat Legal Consultants and an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India. He studied law at the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and worked with law firms, organisations, and litigation chambers before co-founding the firm.
His litigation practice spans the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals, and trial courts. He appears before forums including the NCLT, NCLAT, APTEL, CERC, NCDRC, State Commissions, RERA, DRT, DRAT, and TDSAT, and handles arbitrations and mediations.
He has worked on matters under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the Prevention of Corruption Act, the NDPS Act, the Passports Act, the Insecticides Act, the Essential Commodities Act, and the Negotiable Instruments Act, and on matters involving virtual digital assets and cryptocurrency.
He is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, a permanent member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association, and an affiliate partner of the Bharat Web3 Association.
